By using Felvo you agree to these terms and to the Community Guidelines. They're written to be read rather than skimmed past, because most of what's here is about keeping this a place worth writing in.
Using Felvo
Felvo is provided by Zolu LLC, North Carolina, United States. You must be at least 17 to use it, matching the App Store age rating.
You sign in with Apple. Your account is anonymous and tied to a device. You're responsible for what happens under it.
What you write is yours
You own what you write. By posting, you grant us the limited permission needed to display it within Felvo for as long as it exists on the service, and to retain it where our guidelines or the law require. That permission ends when the content is deleted.
We do not use your writing to train models, and we do not license it to anyone.
What you agree not to do
- Post anything the Community Guidelines prohibit.
- Attempt to identify another person using Felvo.
- Interfere with the service, evade rate limits or enforcement, or automate access.
- Use Felvo to advertise, recruit, or promote anything.
Enforcement
We may remove content and restrict or end access where these terms or the guidelines are broken. Serious breaches may result in immediate and permanent loss of access.
Removed content may be retained for up to 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy — including after you delete your account.
Ephemerality is a feature, not a promise of recovery
Posts are deleted after seven days by design and cannot be restored. Prompt responses are deleted 28 days after the prompt week closes. We are not a backup service.
Saved posts live on your device. Losing the device may mean losing them, though they're included in your iCloud device backup. Keep your own copy of anything you truly need.
Felvo is not a mental health service, a crisis line, or a substitute for professional care. We do not monitor content for emergencies and cannot respond to them.
If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services. In the US you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any hour.
Our rights
Felvo, its design, and its software are ours. These terms don't grant you rights to them beyond using the app.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time, from within the app. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
Felvo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we are not responsible for content posted by users.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or fifty US dollars.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
We'll give notice in the app before material changes take effect. Continued use after that means acceptance.
