Common questions
Where did my post go?
Posts are deleted seven days after you write them. That's by design and they can't be recovered. Save anything you want to keep to your Vault before it expires.
Can anyone see who wrote a post?
No. Posts carry no name, handle, or identifier. Nobody — including other users — can tell which posts came from the same person.
My feed looks emptier than it should.
Check Settings → Content Filters. If you've hidden a mood, posts in that space won't appear. Muted words also filter posts out quietly, so it's worth checking both if the feed feels thin.
How do muted words work?
Add a word and posts containing it stop reaching you. The matching happens on your phone, after posts arrive — your list never touches our servers. It reduces what reaches you rather than guaranteeing it, since people don't always use the word you're avoiding.
Why does my streak count days I didn't write?
Streaks are about showing up, not producing. Opening the app is the whole ask — because some days the honest thing is to read rather than write.
My Vault is full.
The Vault holds thirty saved moments. Remove one to make room. The limit is deliberate — it keeps the Vault a drawer rather than a dumping ground.
Will my Vault survive a new phone?
It's stored on your device and included in your iCloud device backup, so restoring a phone brings it back. Setting up as a brand-new device won't. Syncing through your own iCloud account is planned after launch.
Can I answer the weekly prompt twice?
One response per person per week. The prompt is a shared moment rather than a feed, and everyone gets the same amount of room. Past weeks stay readable in the Capsule.
How do I report something?
Tap the ••• on any post and choose Report. Reports are reviewed by a person. You can also mute the account, which hides everything they write from then on.
I'm not getting notifications.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Felvo, then the notification settings inside the app. Reminders can be set to any hour between 8am and 10pm.
How do I delete my account?
Dashboard → Privacy & Safety → Delete account. Your account and content are deleted immediately, with the narrow exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.
Felvo is a place to write, not a crisis service. If you're in danger or thinking about harming yourself, please reach someone who can help right now.
United States — call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Any hour.
Elsewhere — findahelpline.com lists services by country.
Still stuck?
Write to support@felvo.app. Tell us what happened and roughly when — we don't keep logs tied to your identity, so the more detail you can give, the better we can help.
